Hello

Well. It’s Friday, Sept 27 and I am using the computer with solar power. We have had two weeks of solar now. It is working great. It has really made a difference in our lives. We can get up early and have light, stay up, have school via video (the mission approved the purchase of the video materials and everything arrived on time). And we can use the computer at any time. Really wonderful! Perry and several workers concentrated on getting the solar hooked up. We have 12 panels here at the house. The school has three panels and they have power to use lights to study by. No more generator. It was so loud. Continue reading “1991-10 Letter 74 Solar power and more”

My friend,

Another term is over. I just gave the last of the semester finals. Now I can think about a new issue that we have encountered.

Greetings from Gbendembu

Life has been so busy and we are getting settled in.

We have had a number of visitors the past couple of days. L came to visit the clinic and spent a couple of days.  J came to help with a literacy class and brought a load of women. Hello

The trip went well, and the kids did really well, but mom and dad didn’t sleep too great. The good news is that all of our luggage arrived. The only challenge has been the computer. They won’t release it without the proper paperwork and the payment of duty which will be $150. Looks like Nancy and one of our coworkers P. will be able to do that tomorrow.
