I want to tell you a story today about our son’s friend A. This all happened today, and it isn’t done yet. A’s dad died last night after being sick for a long time. Letter 20 – Hello from Makeni

Heading to Gbendembu

Dear folks,

Hello from Makeni, Sierra Leone. Home of Don and Joan. They have a beautiful house. The big difference is all the windows have thief bars and it is built out of cement blocks.

We have finished our language course and are in route to Gbendembu. We will leave early Tuesday morning. It is only 22 miles from here but takes an hour and a half to drive. (bad roads) Continue reading “Letter 20 – Hello from Makeni”
